I usually get all my news there, but they dont have an app. So, Im switching to the Time mobile app. :)

What a great new App! Simple and elegant user interface and I love the audio.

This app suffers from the same issue I have with USA Todays app. I cant pull the full story. The point of having this tech is to utilize it, not make me use my phone to read it. Looks good but needs some work.

App is okay and well laid out, but the app failed an important feature that is critical for a news app, and that is caching for off line reading. Sometimes a story would be readable off line, other times not, it was hit and miss. So Ive deleted off phone and rate 2 stars. If the app would quickly load/cache all stories in a minute or less for off line reading as the AP news app does, then I would have rated this no worse than 4 stars. For now my only two news apps are AP and NPR, both of which fully cache their text articles for offline reading.

Only The Brief loads on my iphone OS8. This was a problem for years, but was fixed fairly recently, but this Apple Watch update has taken it right back to the doldrums!

it seems that the latest update made list loading a little snappier. I liked the earlier version without ads :(, but I understand that bills must be paid. I also like the watch companion app, although the functionality is limited (a lot like the other watch apps I’ve used).

Love the audio option for The Brief! So awesome that I can sit back and listen to someone read the news to me!

I use this app every day. I check it 3-5 times a day because they constantly update it. Lately I have been experiencing a bug in the app. Whenever I try to load politics in top stories my app crashes. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled it and that doesnt help. Im sketched out that they are trying to not tell me something but hey media black out is totally fine. I love not being informed.

The app crashes all the time, fails to load pictures, and only loads sections of stories; they just cut off in the middle.

I click on top stories it crashes. Its too easy to just switch to other apps for news instead of dealing with this half baked app.

After several updates, this app is still so buggy it crashes all the time. Now some stories crash it. Going to options and turning off sections one at a time until it gets past it. But guess what: it doesnt remember you set the option the next time you load it and it goes right back to crashing. Today: a story in the brief crashes it so you cant even get to options. Funny thing is, you can load the section that crashes the app as long as you load it by itself. Like the app. Hate the developer. Fire him or send him back to school.

The app crashes when I try to switch from The Brief to Top Stories on iPad. The app description says it works on iPad but that is not my experience. Even worse, when you click on "App Support" you are taken to a webpage and asked to subscribe. In other words, they provide no support.

This app version crashes randomly when going from The Brief to Top Stories. This happens on iPhone using iOS 9.0.2 as well as on iPad using iOS 8.4.1. Highly frustrating and not predictable.

Doesnt look clean.

The pictures dont load in the app for the different news stories. I wish this would get fixed

Great app and pretty smooth. Would love a complication on the Apple Watch, or at least for a headline in my glances.

The watch app should allow us to click on the story we want to read and then have it ready on the iPhone. Having a watch app just seems like a gimmick without this functionality.
