Crashed the first two times I launched it, then took four minutes to update. A terrible update, not worth the download.

I want to preface this review by saying that overall, this app is still pretty good, I read it all the time (pardon the pun) and the articles are still top-notch. That being said though, I really liked the old version much better than the 2.0; it seems to take longer to load and is less easy to navigate and the articles seem less readable (in terms of layout, not content). I will stick with this app because the articles are so good, but if there were a way to go back to the old version, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Come on guys. This was a "front page" app when it was first released. 2.0 is slow, slow, slow - and very unremarkable to look at. 1.0 was simple, sleek and beautiful. Im going to be deleting this app if the next update doesnt deliver the experience I would expect from TIME.

Terrible new version release. Crashes, bugs, text scrolls separate from the pics, takes forever to load. Why release an upgrade without a proper QA?!!

This is a good app as far as Time Inc goes, however, for Canadian content goes, an app for Canucks would be more relevant to me. Cheers M

User interface and navigation is horrible

Content is great, it why does it take forever to load? Borderline unusable in its current state. Please find a fix, I used to love this app.

I regret "upgrading" this app. Crashes a lot now and not as nice. + i cant even see any news. It just keeps updating!

Regretably the latest version is more of a downgrade then an improvement. While the articles load appropriately, not all sections selected are rendered. My suggestion is to refrain from this latest version as the apps performance has deteriorated from its earlier high level. Once problems are redressedd, I will re-evaluate my appraisal. Dec. 23,2010 Regrettably, there is no zero star category, as a single star rating for this is misleading. Poor.

Please get rid of the gesture to switch between articles or at least make it less sensitive. The number of times Im scrolling down only to have it flip to the next article is driving me mad.

An excellent app

This app does not support retina display: all time logos are low res. Also, photocollections just show up black. Needs overhaul.

Doesnt support hi res display, but that doesnt affect the quality of articles.

Unacceptably slow updating. I sometimes think it would be faster to subscribe to the weekly paper mag and get it in the mail!

All the news I need in my pocket, like the top 10 lists

This used to be a great app but then articles started showing up under multiple headings/sections and now the Entertainment and Tuned In sections update maybe once a week if that.

Why is my screen blank?

Whats the point of getting this all if it doesnt bother showing the entire article, and there are no links to click to further expand or see what else is contained within the article. Might as well use safari if thats the case.

enough advertisements. on the main page, on the top of an article, at the bottom of an article, jeez.

I was already annoyed with the lacklustre speed at which articles are updated, but taking the quoted away in v2.2 has ruined this app for me.
